MOD INFO

PLOT

The MOD is set on Starbase 212 - a small Starbase bordering the Beta Quadrant just after the treaty between the Federation and Klingons was set up. It has both Klingon and Starfleet officers serving on it. You play Lieutenant Quincy Taggart, a crewman who has been serving on the station for a year. He is a security officer and works with a team of officers, including his girlfriend - Klingon Officer K'Elha. Soon, a large civillian frieghter docks at the Starbase hoping to trade with the Federation. Shortly after, K'Elha is found dead in her quarters. As Taggart was the last one with her, he is the main suspect. He is given one chance by the Base Commander to prove his inoccence and to find the real killer or he will be arrested and dismissed from Starfleet. Can the real killer be found? And why are the crew from the civillian ship so interested in Starfleet? Only you can find out.

CHARACTERS

LIEUTENANT (JUNIOR GRADE) Quincy Taggart

Lieutenant Taggart was assigned to Starbase 212 after previously serving aboard the USS Ajax - a Steamrunner class Starship - as an Ensign. He is now head of a Security team, normally working the night shift with the rest of his team. He is a 23 year-old Human, with an almost perfect service record. He seems the last person you would expect to find at the heart of a murder case, unless he is the one performing the investigation. He has formed a close bond with third in command of the team, Klingon exchange officer, K'Elha.

ENSIGN JUSTIN MASTERSON

Second in command of the security team. He knew Taggart from the Academy, and was frustrated that he is only an Ensign whereas Taggart is a Lieutenant. Hated by most people on the team because of his unlikeable personality. Always trying to manipulate people and changing orders to fit his needs, he is the most suspicious member of the team.

ENSIGN K'ELHA

Third in command of the Security team. Previously assigned to the Klingon ship Gr'Gar, but joined Starfleet as she found Klingon life "too tough." Embracing human life, she formed a relationship with Quincy Taggart as he was the only one suspicious of her motives for joining. K'Elha is unusually sweet and kind and found it odd that she was assigned to a security team, when she wanted to be a science officer or engineer. She was discovered dead in her room by Justin Masterson on Stardate 57783.7, moments after talking to Taggart.
